Everybody loves a kick about! In fact it’s one of the nation’s best loved sports, we love watching it, playing it and well…just talking about it! Everyone’s got an opinion on how the match should of been played and what tactics the manager should of implemented. But instead of just sitting on your sofa and shouting at the telly, it’s time to step onto the pitch for real and hear the crowds cheering your name! Well, ok, maybe we can’t guarantee the crowds, but at Etwall Leisure Centre we can guarantee a brilliant playing surface because we’re lucky enough to have a brand new state of the art 3G pitch! It’s a great surface for a knock about with your mates, a team training session or even a match in our new football league.

Casual Pay and Play football session

If you fancy a low casual kick about, the pitch is available every Friday 7.00 – 8.30pm. It only costs £3 per player for ages 16+, so feel free to turn up and have a go! It’s a chance to meet new people, put your skills to the test and most importantly get fit while having fun!

Football Coaching

If you fancy being the next Ronaldo or Messi, but need a bit of help to fine tune your skills, our Football Coaching sessions are the ideal thing. We run sessions every Monday 4.00pm – 5.00pm for school years 3, 4, 5 & 6. The cost per session is £3, and for that small price you will have access to Derby County ladies football player and qualified FA coach Emily Jeffery!

Football Holiday Camp

If you’re feeling a bit bored during the school holidays we’ve got a great idea! Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we run Football Camps packed with drills and skills, mini matches, mini tournaments and penalty shoot out. The sessions run between 10.00am – 3.00pm for ages 8-12 years. A full days activity costs £15 per day or £30 for 3 days.

Make sure you bring a packed lunch, drinks, sun cream and hat and clean trainers or rounded moulded studs.

Football Parties

If you are mad about football, then a Football party is probably the best way you could sepnd your birthday!

In which case, how about  an hour of football fun lead by one of our qualified FA coaches. We’ll spend an action packed hour with skills and drills, a crossbar challenge, penalty shoot outs and a whole lot more!
