“Who says you need to venture into the nation’s towns and cities to find something exciting to do? Situated five miles north-east of Chorley in the village of Brinscall, we’ve got you a proud little facility in the form of a swimming pool housed in a 101-year-old building for you to enjoy.
Of course, it’s been updated a bit since its humble beginnings over a century ago, but you’ll still find an old building with a real sense of history, in which you can get active in a number of more modern ways. As well as conventional swimming, there are sessions with big pool inflatables for the kids, Aqua Aerobics and Swimfit activities, and even canoeing. In all, a bit of water-based fun for all the family in a community-based environment.
If you like your sport and exercise to have a bit of a nostalgic feel, you need look no further than Brinscall. Come along and give it a try, you’ll love it!”
