I want to lose weight

Gaz, Personal Trainer at Clayton Green recommends 30mins of moderate activity on most days. Take the stairs, walk instead of drive and join a group class for motivation. Reduce your calorie intake by substituting high calorie snacks for fruit and choose reduced fat products.

Mark, Fitness Manager at Yarborough recommends 3 resistance workouts each week with plenty of free weights and dumbells. Do body pump classes for variety and combine your resistance training with cardiovascular exercise and a low fat, low sugar diet.

Claire, group exercise coordinator at Yarborough suggests a combination of resistance and high intensity cardiovascular workouts 5 times a week. Spin and Circuit classes are a great way to burn calories. Reduce your alcohol and soft drink intake and focus on the end result!

Howard, Instructor at All Seasons, reckons the more you move the more energy you have! Aim for 30 mins of moderate activity 5 days a week. Find something you enjoy and stick with it. Plenty of wholegrain breads, cereals, pasta and regular hydration will all help.
