Cyclocross is a form of mountain bike racing which contains pavement, wood trails, grass and steep hills, it’s certainly not easy, but it’s a great sport for building strength and endurance.

The race season normally runs from November to February, but training sessions are available all year round. So if you want to put your body and your bike to the test, get on the track.

You don’t need much equipment to get started, just begin with the basics of a mountain bike and a helmet

Cyclocross riders can burn as many as 800 calories an hour during a race. Riders have incredible cardiovascular stamina.
